Lets do a spot of baking!

This is a recipe that is fun, simple and slightly messy! I love to bake, not to say I am the next Mary Berry... as far as cakes go they tend not to rise however tray bakes, cupcakes and in particular cookies are my speciality.

You will need:
- 125g Butter
- 225g Caster Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 225g Self Raising Flour
- 100g Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

1) Pre-heat the oven to 180°C

2) Cream together the Butter and the Sugar before adding the egg and vanilla essence

3) Fold in the Flour before adding the Chocolate Chips

4) Using your hands make walnut size balls and place onto a greaseproof paper covered baking tray ensuring that there is enough space in between each cookie

5) Cook for 8-10 minutes depending on preference of texture

6) Once out of the oven, leave to cool which will also harden them slightly

7) Enjoy with a nice glass of milk!!
